1 Pack loose-fitting, lightweight clothes for summer visits. Cotton and linen garments will keep you
comfortable and can be easily laundered. Layer with a sweater for cool nights.
2 Take long shorts, jeans, skirts, long and short-sleeved T-shirts, khakis, button-down shirts, and a hat
to protect your "Bald" head from burning. Ladies... Keep skirt lengths to the knee and below.
3 Bring a jacket, a few sweaters and long pants for visits between October and April, when
temperatures hover between the high 40s and high 60s.
4 Bring a pair of comfortable Sun Glasses.
5 Pack comfortable walking shoes or sandals for sight-seeing. Darker colors will hide any dust or dirt.
6 Stash a bathing suit, beach towel and sunscreen in your bag in case you have the opportunity to visit
an Israeli beach. Several of our hotels have an in-door pool and we will be stopping at the Dead Sea to
swim.
7 Take an electric converter and adapter. (220/230 Power)
Hair Dryers are available in the hotel rooms.
8 “Over the Neck” Passport/Document/$ Holder. It is best to have your passport with you at all times
while traveling abroad. It is not wise to keep your passport in your purse or pocket.
9 Pack $100 in $1 bills per person. The $1 bills will be used to buy souvenirs, soda, water, camel rides
and etc while we are touring the sites.
10 Bring a Visa/Master Card Credit/Debit card(s) with credit or balance available to purchase
lunches/superiors and etc. Travelers checks are no longer accepted at many of the markets, stores and
restaurants. Cash or Credit/Debit Cards should be used.
11 Digital Camera and/or Video camera. (Bring enough storage cards and video tapes to hold the
pics and video. Rev. Tucker will supply data transfer from data storage cards to his laptop. A DVD of all
the pics taken will be provided to all Holy Land Tour team members free of charge.
12 Make two (2) color copies of your passport and pack them in your luggage and purse.
